Information regarding data collection as per Article 13 GDPR (as of 1st October 2018)

Feuerschutz Jockel GmbH & Co. KG collects data for the purposes of consulting, executing contractual agreements, to fulfil contractual and pre-contractual obligations and for the purposes of direct marketing (for example sending promotions).
Data collection and processing is required for the implementation of a contractually based business relationship and are based on Article 6 Para. 1 lit b GDPR. In the case of direct marketing, the mediation of requests and for the continuation of external business relationships, data collection and processing are based on Article 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

To initiate and maintain a business relationship, we collect the following information:
Salutation, first name, surname, valid e-mail address, postal address, telephone number (landline and/or mobile).

This data is collected
to be able to identify you as our customer,
to be able to advise you competently and provide you with information,
to correspond with you,
to execute orders,
for invoicing,
for processing possible guarantee claims,
to coordinate repair measures,
for product information and for information about events.

Furthermore, we process the date of birth for the purposes of clear identification as part of trainings.

The data collected by us to maintain the business relationship will be stored until termination/disruption of the business relationship and then deleted, unless we are obligated to store and document such data longer (from HGB (Commercial Code), StGB (Penal Code) or AO (Fiscal Code)) as per Article 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 lit. c GDPR for reasons of tax or commercial law.

TRANSFERRING DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

Where we process an order to install, expand and retrofit fire protection devices as well as for the sale and assembly, maintenance and repairs of fire extinguishers and fire protection accessories, we reserve the right to transfer our data to business partners for the purposes of fulfilling contractual duties.
In case of a request we are unable to process, we will transfer your data to a trusted partner who is capable of processing your request.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have the right:

  • to revoke your consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 Paragraph 3 GDPR. This means that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future;
  • as per Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data we process. In particular, you may request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, categories of recipients to whom your data was disclosed or will be disclosed, the planned storage duration, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of the right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if not collected by us, and about the existence of automatic decision-making including profiling and possibly sound information about the details.
  • to request the immediate correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • as per Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of processing of your personal data where you contest the correctness of the data, where processing is unlawful, but you refuse deletion and we no longer require the data, but you require such data for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to processing as per Art. 21 GDPR;
  • as per Art. 20, to receive the personal data you have shared with us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another responsible party, and
  • to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or place of work.

RIGHT TO OBJECT

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests as per Art. 6 Para. 1 Claus 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right as per Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data, as long as there are reasons to do so resulting from your special situation.
