The new Jockel Green 2.0 foam fire extinguishers are the latest development in environmentally friendly fire fighting. Without fluorosurfactants and solvents, they are suitable for use on Class A and B incipient fires. Their wide range of uses and residue-free removability make them ideal for any type of environment.
The low specific density of the film-forming
foam agents ensures safe suffocation of the fire by forming a closed vapour-tight and watery barrier layer on the surface of the fire material.
In addition, foam has a cooling effect due to its water content.

These water extinguishers are used to fight fires of solid, ember-forming substances, i.e. they are the ideal solution for incipient fires of fire class A.
Water is considered to be the oldest extinguishing agent known to mankind. Its extinguishing effect is based on cooling. In this process, the thermal reaction conditions are hindered so that the further transformation of flammable substances and the supply of combustible gases and vapours is prevented.
Nowadays, its effectiveness is considerably increased by means of extinguishing additives and the formation of bacteria and algae is prevented.
An extinguisher with 6 litres of extinguishing agent naturally weighs quite a bit. The larger the unit, the more important it is to have a comfortable carrying handle. At Jockel, you can choose between the universal round handle and the classic handle. By the way, to make the extinguisher as light as possible, we have also paid attention to the weight of each individual part.
Water is the most environmentally friendly extinguishing agent in firefighting.
Jockel water mist extinguishers take the extinguishing effectiveness of the environmentally friendly extinguishing agent water to a new level.
Jockel water mist extinguishers are suitable for fire classes A (embers and solids) and F (cooking fat/oil).
In addition, the water mist extinguishers have been successfully tested in fire class B (liquid substances and substances that become liquid). Due to this extinguishing performance, the environmentally friendly water mist extinguishers can be optimally used depending on the area of application.
We have succeeded in increasing the extinguishing effectiveness of water through the innovative patented nebulisation technology. Due to the perfectly coordinated combination and the interaction of nozzle and pressure, water gains maximum efficiency.
The special water mist nozzle atomises the finest water droplets (Ø 55 μm) into a fine mist, which greatly increases the surface area of the extinguishing agent. This reduction of the droplet size increases the total water surface so that it can extract the heat from the source of the fire much faster.
Sprayed on as a water mist, the fine drops evaporate abruptly in the event of a fire. In the process, the oxygen that is absolutely necessary for the fire to continue burning is displaced over a large area from the ambient air. The fire is suffocated.
Thanks to the exorbitant number of tiny water particles, the water mist expands over a large surface and reduces the temperature considerably - an enormous amount of heat energy (approx. 3.36 MJ per litre at 20°C) is extracted from the fire. By sealing off the heat radiation, a possible spread of fire is also prevented.
Gel is an effective extinguishing agent that has a fast, preventive and cooling effect.
The specially developed gel extinguishing agent is particularly suitable for problem fires in lithium-ion batteries as it practically permanently wraps itself around the entire battery (or the burnt material) and remains adherent even on horizontal, vertical, slippery as well as smooth surfaces.
In addition, the gel layer on the fire material provides an oxygen seal - this lasting cooling and smothering of the flames causes a rapid reduction of the fire ambient temperature.
As gel binds the water in the extinguishing agent, no sudden evaporation occurs during application. Hot and toxic fire gases are knocked down and soot particles are bound. Due to the preventive effect, valuable time can also be gained by coating the surrounding fire load that is not yet burning with gel - this prevents it from spreading in the event of a fire.
Due to its thermal nature (heat absorption), gel can transfer its cooling effect to the battery over a long period of time and significantly reduce its temperature - and that with little use of extinguishing agent - which also unmistakably reduces the damage of extinguishing agent retention.
When using gel, not only can the spread or direct spread of flames to surrounding property be better prevented in the event of a fire, especially when storing, temporarily storing or transporting lithium-ion batteries, but above all it can protect people.
Gel extinguishers offer an effective solution especially for industries in which lithium-ion batteries are used, but are also ideally suited for many other areas.
