Charging extinguisher

Class D metal fires require special fire extinguishers. The Jockel PM 12 JX was specially developed for this purpose and uses an extinguishing powder containing salt, which is applied at low pressure using an extinguishing lance. This prevents burning chips from being whirled up. The powder melts on the fire, forms an airtight layer and effectively smothers the fire.
